Dining room with botanical wallpaper and teal walls by KACE Painting

Why KACE

A finish you notice, and a process you barely do.

A designer's eye

Kathy is a proud member of NYIAD. Color guidance is part of the work, not an upsell, so the finish suits the room and the light it lives in.

Virtually dust free

HEPA vacuum sanding on spackle and prep keeps the fine dust out of your house. Furniture moved and covered, site cleaned before we leave.

Detail you can point to

Clean caulking, filled joints, and a standard Kathy stands behind personally. Honest, transparent, and on time.

What we do

Painting, wallpaper, and the prep most crews skip.

Interior PaintingYour home should feel like you. We help you choose the right colors and finishes, then do the preparation that decides how it turns out.See the work ›Color ConsultationA wall of paint chips is where good projects stall. Color is hard to judge from a swatch.See the work ›Exterior PaintingA good exterior finish starts long before the paint goes on. The preparation is where the job is won.See the work ›Cabinet PaintingNew cabinets can cost more than the rest of the kitchen put together. Refinishing the ones you have gets you a fresh kitchen for a fraction of that.See the work ›Wallpaper InstallationWallpaper brings texture, pattern, and personality to a home or a business. The details are where it is won or lost.See the work ›Wallpaper RemovalOld paper and the glue underneath both have to come off. Done in a hurry it gouges the drywall and the seams telegraph through whatever goes on next.See the work ›Pressure WashingHouse washing, siding, and decks. Paint will not bond to a chalky or dirty surface, so on an exterior job the wash is part of the work, not an add on.See the work ›CommercialHands on experience in hospitals, schools, salons, studios, restaurants, diners, and barbershops, often while those businesses remain open.See the work ›Surface PreparationThe finish is only as good as the surface underneath it.See the work ›

“We had an entire house to be painted including kitchen cabinets. We could not be happier with the results. Kathy and her team did a beautiful job. Clean and professional. We have another small job and look forward to coming back.”

Michele Rix, Google review

“This is the second house in which we have had Kace do our interior painting and we were thrilled with their work both times. This job was for a kitchen, two hallways and ceilings including over a tall staircase. The job was done quickly, cleanly and professionally. Kace's quote was reasonable and they were a joy to work with.”
